Arrive back late last night from an amazing week in Mexico.  Our group stayed at the Marival Resort 20 minutes north of Puerto.  HIGHLY recommend...  If you end up staying anywhere on Banderas Bay I would suggest taking the Las Caletas tour.  You'll find yourself snorkeling with tropical fish, relaxing on amazingly pristine beaches and grubbing on Paella made right before your eyes.  Very worth the trip...
